Ceramics from yesteryear
The Virgen de Guadalupe, milagros, sacred hearts and images are all artistic motifs used in Mexican folk art in every state in Mexico.
The Christmas decorations of Mexico vary by region but are always colorful and festive whether made of tin, paper, wood, textiles or clay.
"Milagro"means "miracle" in Spanish. Milagros are religious charms that are prevalent throughout Mexico and are used to request or thank God for a miracle.

It's always fiesta time in Mexico. And these beautiful, handmade paper crowns make an appearance almost everywhere. They arrive as a long line of flowers on a bendable wire with ribbons attached and can be formed into a crown to fit a little person or big person's head. Or they are gorgeous hanging as a wreath on the wall or door. This floral array was handmade in Mexico City.
This group of coronas does NOT have glitter on the flowers.
Perfect for any fiesta!
