Ceramics from yesteryear
The Virgen de Guadalupe, milagros, sacred hearts and images are all artistic motifs used in Mexican folk art in every state in Mexico.
The Christmas decorations of Mexico vary by region but are always colorful and festive whether made of tin, paper, wood, textiles or clay.
"Milagro"means "miracle" in Spanish. Milagros are religious charms that are prevalent throughout Mexico and are used to request or thank God for a miracle.
Consider giving a gift of high quality, Mexican handmade goods! Every piece is authentic and personally selected on our buying trips to Mexico.

These exceptional paper flowers are handmade in Guanajuato. The material is a thick crepe paper, so they're heavier and more durable than the thin little skimpy paper from (ugh) China. Look at how the ridges and edges are crimped, sometimes with a second color. The center has yet an additional color. Each one is stunning!
Every flower has its own unique, handmade color combination. Please allow us to choose the individual flower for you or give us some ideas of the colors you would like in the notes at checkout!
