These handmade Mexican talavera cazuelas (handled bowls), from Dolores Hidalgo, Mexico, are really cute. And so functional! We offer these beautifully painted and shaped cazuelas in a small size to use for all of the condiments you add to tacos and enchiladas--or any dish you fancy.
A cazuela is commonly used in Mexico, in every state, to cook sauces and moles, often over an open flame. This one is not for that. It's too small and it's not meant to go on a flame. However, it is food safe, lead free and could be used in the oven or microwave. We recommend hand-washing. The patterns are varied but most have a mixture of cobalt blue, orange, yellow and red so the patterns mix and match with other talavera pieces extremely well.
Purchase of multiples will have additional shipping charges.
