These gorgeous rectangular, lumbar pillows were woven on a backstrap loom in San Andres Larrainzar, Chiapas in the traditional way with Mayan symbols predominately various shades of blue on a crisp, clean white cotton. Then the weaving was made into a pillowcase with an open end. The seams are handsewn, as you can see in the photo. These beauties comes from some of the finest weavers in Chiapas who belong to the Sna Jolobil Women's Weaving Coop. These are beautiful accent pieces in your home or as a gorgeous gift for someone you know...Pillow form is not included.
