These Mexican carved wooden hearts are covered in milagros. Generally they are a dark brown wood heart topped by a flame symbolizing the Sacred Heart. Milagro means “miracle,” and these tiny religious charms are generally used to thank or request spiritual help for a specific problem. Each heart is covered with different kinds of milagros, made of pot metal and hammered onto the wood. Pot metal is a combination of lots of inexpensive metals that are melted together and then placed in a mold to shape them into the milagros. They are a silver or gold color but are not made of silver or gold. A lovely and popular gift, they come in different sizes and with or without wings. Please allow us to choose one for you. They are all one of a kind.
Let us know in the notes if you have a color preference.
