Ceramics from yesteryear
The Virgen de Guadalupe, milagros, sacred hearts and images are all artistic motifs used in Mexican folk art in every state in Mexico.
The Christmas decorations of Mexico vary by region but are always colorful and festive whether made of tin, paper, wood, textiles or clay.
"Milagro"means "miracle" in Spanish. Milagros are religious charms that are prevalent throughout Mexico and are used to request or thank God for a miracle.

These small tin mirrors are painted with a white background to pop out the very pretty multicolored flowers. Every mirror has a unique color combo of flowers, edges and internal borders. Perfect for a small space anywhere in the house, like kids' rooms or a narrow hallway; they add both a spot of color and a functional little mirror! They can be propped on a picture stand or hung on the wall. (The rectangle shape has a yellow interior border; the blue one has sold.)
