These sweet bunnies were carved and painted by Victor and Jesusita Xuana of San Martin Tilcajete, Oaxaca. If you are familiar with the Xuana pieces, they are exceptionally well done both in the carving and the painting. Just like all of their other pieces, the rabbits feature the teeniest tiny dots and dashes and is another gorgeous example of how small the dot painting of the Xuana family can get. The dots and sophisticated color choices on the body painting are signature style of the this very collectible artwork from Oaxaca. No one else does it like the Xuanas in Oaxaca. Signed.
