These super whimsical, colorful whistles were made in Ocumicho, Michoacán from clay. These whistles are used in Ocumicho for children to play with but also for decorating the graves of young people who have died during early November for Día de los Muertos. Most of them are unrecognizable creatures but there is one of bird sitting on a nest filled with eggs. They are done in the typical Ocumicho whimsical style. They are unusual, difficult to obtain and highly charming.
