Greca Framed Milagro-Covered Hearts

This item is sold out but we thought you might like to take a look at these similar products.

These Mexican carved wooden hearts are covered in milagros. This collection of "framed" hearts are a dark brown wood heart topped by a gold flame symbolizing the Sacred Heart. Milagro means “miracle,” and these tiny religious charms are generally used to thank or request spiritual help for a specific problem. Each heart is covered with different kinds of milagros, made of pot metal and hammered onto the wood. Pot metal is a combination of lots of inexpensive metals that are melted together and then placed in a mold to shape them into the milagros. They are a silver or gold color but are not made of silver or gold. A lovely and popular gift, this group can be chosen by you.

They are all one of a kind. The specific hearts in the photo have been sold.
