These Mexican carved wooden hearts are painted a rustic, dark red and then covered in an organized way with silver milagros. Milagro means “miracle,” and these tiny religious charms are generally used to thank or request spiritual help for a specific problem. Each heart is decorated (not randomly) with different kinds of milagros, made of pot metal and hammered onto the wood. Pot metal is a combination of lots of inexpensive metals that are melted together and then placed in a mold to shape them into the milagros. They are a silver colored but are not made of silver. A lovely and popular gift. Only 2 left in stock.
They are all one of a kind.
