Expertly handwoven, striped, traditional jaspè ikat textile used as a corte (skirt) in Guatemala. The color combinations in the stripes are predominately a deep indigo blue background with lighter blue and white ikat design interspersed with very narrow incandescent stripes. It was handwoven in Guatemala.The two pieces which have been expertly sewn down the middle so the separate weavings are hard to discern. It is a medium weight cotton corte.
