Mexican folk art toys reflect the artisan's humor and love of the delightful object. This carved and painted wood ferris wheel was handmade in San Martín Tilacajete, Oaxaca by Marcelo Vidales and is absolutely delightful. Smiles are popping out all over. It beautifully rotates but it is not really intended for young children. But they absolutely love it. It is beautifully painted in the alebrije style. The little animals are sitting in painted small carts. It is cheerful and pleasing. Very whimsical! Not signed.
