These rustic carved animal angels come from a little town about 15 miles from Oaxaca City and are getting more difficult to find. I love this old fashioned style which is more simplistic and more charming to my mind. The various animal faces are painted copal wood and the colorful dresses and wings painted with analine paint. Each one has on a white "belt." They should be kept away from sun, as they will fade in the light. The wings are removable. Super charming.
