These rustic carved angels come from a little town about 15 miles from Oaxaca City and are getting harder and harder to find. I love this old fashioned style which is more simplistic and more charming to my mind. The serene faces are unpainted copal wood and the colorful dresses and wings painted with analine paint. They should be kept away from sun, as they will fade in the light. These are more decorated than most. The wings are removable.
