The Virgen de Guadalupe, milagros, sacred hearts and images are all artistic motifs used in Mexican folk art in every state in Mexico.
The Christmas decorations of Mexico vary by region but are always colorful and festive whether made of tin, paper, wood, textiles or clay.
"Milagro"means "miracle" in Spanish. Milagros are religious charms that are prevalent throughout Mexico and are used to request or thank God for a miracle.

A pretty and large pendant featuring Frida Kahlo. Available as an oval photo of Frida taken by Nicholas Murray in one of her many Tehuana huipiles. I believe this is silver plate and the surrounding design is lots of flowers. The oval is about 2" long. It looks great on a black ribbon or black leather necklace. Comes as a pendant only.
state of origin: Estado de Mexico dimensions: approx 2" long
