These devotional scapular beauties were handmade in Michoacán, Mexico. A scapular is an object that shows the wearer's respect for and devotion to a certain way of life, in this case, Christianity. They are worn as a necklace or sometimes they are hung from the wall or from the rear view mirror of a vehicle. These pieces are stitched to red felt-like cloth and decorated with hand sewn beads and milagros. The necklace portion is suede and could be changed to a ribbon or a pretty chain.
