These handwoven, lidded baskets are from the State of Oaxaca and made from palma, a natural fiber that is grown, harvested, dyed then woven into lovely baskets. I'm not sure which pueblito these heavier, pink baskets are from. They are very well made, sturdy and you can see the mixture of plant fibers that were used to weave these beauties together. The lids fit very well and the pink, well, it's pink.
