These lovely Mexican earrings are reminiscent of the filagree and bead earrings from Oaxaca but these were handmade in Taxco. The silver has been oxidized to make them look old. There is a large turquoise colored bead at the top and then strings of tiny dangle beads at the bottom. They have lots of movement because the two levels are jointed and of course the beads move too! Filagree designs are hand swirled so be sure to note the amazing symmetry and design perfection. Exquisite! Silver French wire.
