This unique, beautifully crafted pale orange/melon square pillow was woven, then embroidered on a backstrap loom in Chiapas, Mexico in the traditional style. It features several Mayan symbols including the Mayan universe. Then it was made into a pillowcase with an envelope closure in the back. The back is white cotton. This beauty comes from one of the wonderful women's coops in San Cristóbal de las Casas. This is a beautiful accent pillow in your home or as a gorgeous gift for someone you know...Pillow form is not included. Exceptional work that took over 30 days to complete.
