This is a faded, pale pink sombrero made entirely of sugar. I've had it for several years in the shop as part of our Day of the Dead display so it's faded to a lovely pale pink color. It's decorated with green and blue sugar piping. Add it to your ofrenda!
Objects made of sugar are usually available only around the Dia de los Muertos holiday in Mexico. Sugar markets pop up in the weeks before Day of the Dead so people can purchase items to add to their ofrenda. One can find all kinds of things made of sugar, especially skulls, but many other objects as well. Only one available. It is stiff but fragile. Sugar objects can last a long time and should not be eaten.
