A long, 100% cotton blouse, handmade with gauzy cotton (manta) in the highlands of Chiapas. These are really pretty blouses. All have long sleeves and are about 29" long so they work well as a tunic over slim pants or jeans. Or they are pretty tucked in with high waisted jeans. The tassel tie closure at the neck, the round collar, the embroidery on the front and the simple outline of the back, all combine to make this pretty summer blouse. Hand embroidered and the seams and hems are finished by hand. Cool in the summer because they are very lightweight.
These pieces are hard to know what the exact size as they are all individually made by artisans from the remote town of Aguacatenango, Chiapas. They are meant to be loose for both small and medium size women. Each blouse takes about three days for a talented artisan to make.
