Expertly handwoven, vintage, small table cloth or camino de mesa (table runner) from Guatemala. I was recently in Chiapas and it is very close to Guatemala. So many of the gorgeous Mayan textiles are woven either in Guatemala or in Chiapas. This is more of small rectangular cloth that can be used as a table runner or as a gorgeous wall hanging. The piece is two separate handwoven strips that are lightly basted in the center. They could be separated if you want to use them for something else (two pillows?) or to sew end to end. The color combination is a lovely pale pink and the weft is woven in pale pinks and pale green threads. It was woven on a back strap loom. Truly lovely.
