White Cotton Runner or Faja Wrap
A long, off white, handwoven cotton runner with with decorated ends was handwoven in Chiapas, Mexico. It is known as a "faja" or wrap belt that is used in a man's traditional dress. These extremely long belts or cinturas can be used as a very pretty, narrow table runner or hang it on the wall as a unique handmade piece from rural Mexico. The ends are decorated with colorful embroidery stitch, sequins and cross stitches in multiple colors.
