The Virgen de Guadalupe, milagros, sacred hearts and images are all artistic motifs used in Mexican folk art in every state in Mexico.
The Christmas decorations of Mexico vary by region but are always colorful and festive whether made of tin, paper, wood, textiles or clay.
"Milagro"means "miracle" in Spanish. Milagros are religious charms that are prevalent throughout Mexico and are used to request or thank God for a miracle.

A lovely, small, silver arracada earring made of sterling silver in the shape of a half moon, just like all arracadas, but the inside is filled with lovely filagree. You know that filagree is hand twirled to fill the space evenly and smoothly, right? The oxidizing of the silver makes it look old but these are actually new. The shape is the traditional crescent and is extremely simple but elegant. Lovely and amazing.
Arracada earrings naturally sit slightly angled in the earlobe. It's not the hole in your ear! They are supposed to be slightly angled and not exactly perpendicular to your head. For that reason, you may be able to see the back side of the earring when you are looking in the mirror.
