The art of making pottery and ceramics goes back thousands of years in Mexico. Contemporary potters of Mexico continue to demonstrate an amazing array of imaginative and creative skills. Our clay pieces come from every region, but the usable, food-safe, microwave and oven safe pieces are mostly from Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato.
And there is more beautiful and functional talavera from Dolores Hidalgo, Mexico. These pitchers come in two sizes and have a nice strong handle that is definitely not wimpy. The large pitcher looks great as a water pitcher or holding flowers. And so does the smaller pitcher!
