These handmade, hand-painted "calabaza" bowls are talavera ceramics from Dolores Hidalgo, Mexico. They have a very nice shape, with ridges along the sides (like a "pumpkin") The large size, which we love, works well for a salad for 4-6 people. Or simply decorating your kitchen counter. The patterns are varied but all have a rim of cobalt blue, so they mix and match well with other talavera pieces in our collection. All of our ceramics are food safe and can go in the oven, microwave and dishwasher (although we recommend hand-washing).
One of each design is available. There are 3 photos of each design; one is shown with a Corona bottle, to show size!
Purchase of multiples will have additional shipping charges.
Ceramics will be packed by UPS to increase the likelihood that they will arrive safely. If you need them quickly, please let us know in the notes.
If you should need to make an insurance claim because of broken pieces, you will do it through the carrier that delivered your package, not Zinnia Folk Arts.
