The Christmas decorations of Mexico vary by region but are always colorful and festive whether made of tin, paper, wood, textiles or clay.

These sweet small bowls were handmade in Michoacán, Mexico. The background is a dark black glaze on terracotta and then decorated with the typical emerald green of Tzintzantzun. It is likely glazed with lead based glaze so we recommend it only for display or decorative use. Or it can be used to serve dry foods such as chips or bread--no acidic foods and not for food storage. They are in quite good condition considering their fragile nature. Two available. Let us know if you prefer one over the other.
Shipping is done by UPS. You will make a shipping deposit to cover packing, shipping and insurance. If your deposit exceeds the cost, you will receive a Paypal invoice (after it's packed) to cover the difference.
