Vintage Tlaquepaque Bowl

$ 8.00

This tiny little handled bowl (cazuela) was made in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, a suburb of Guadalajara, Mexico. These tell-tale designs are typical of the region and many items can be found in this charming terracotta ware with cream palate. Ceramics like these are still being made in Jalisco, but these are older and likely have lead in the glaze. This is tiny, in perfect condition and was used for display in the shop.
