The shape of this Mexican Talavera bowl is known at the workshop as a "pozolero" because it can be used to serve pozole, that delicious soup that has everything in it. But I see it as a perfect salad bowl for 2-3 people or for serving sides at the dinner table. The sides are angled but not curvy. This is the large size; we also have a few, in the same shape, in the chico size.
All of our ceramics are food safe, lead free and can go in the dishwasher, oven or microwave, if appropriate. We recommend hand washing just to make sure they don't clunk up against something in the dishwasher and get chipped.
