Ceramics from yesteryear
The Virgen de Guadalupe, milagros, sacred hearts and images are all artistic motifs used in Mexican folk art in every state in Mexico.
The Christmas decorations of Mexico vary by region but are always colorful and festive whether made of tin, paper, wood, textiles or clay.
"Milagro"means "miracle" in Spanish. Milagros are religious charms that are prevalent throughout Mexico and are used to request or thank God for a miracle.

Exquisitely embroidered, colorful Otomi textiles handmade in Mexico. These pillow covers were made in Hidalgo, Mexico. Every one is different because they are hand embroidered and the design is drawn and embroidered by the individual artisan. This group has an envelope type closure in the back. They add a colorful and cheerful accent to any room. Backed in off-white manta cotton. I am very picky about the quality and these are nicely made and beautifully embroidered. Comes without the pillow form.
