Ceramics from yesteryear
The Virgen de Guadalupe, milagros, sacred hearts and images are all artistic motifs used in Mexican folk art in every state in Mexico.
The Christmas decorations of Mexico vary by region but are always colorful and festive whether made of tin, paper, wood, textiles or clay.
"Milagro"means "miracle" in Spanish. Milagros are religious charms that are prevalent throughout Mexico and are used to request or thank God for a miracle.
Consider giving a gift of high quality, Mexican handmade goods! Every piece is authentic and personally selected on our buying trips to Mexico.
Lots of unique, colorful paper products and decorations are made by Mexican artisans with skill and creativity.

This is a medium size serving platter. It is a handmade, Mexican talavera platter that can be used for serving meat, a beautiful display of fresh vegetables or an appetizer spread. It also looks great on the kitchen wall. The cheerful design makes it eligible for just standing around on top of the table or the kitchen island too.
All of our ceramics are food safe and can go in the dishwasher, oven or microwave, if appropriate. I recommend hand-washing for these large platters.
