Ceramics from yesteryear
The Virgen de Guadalupe, milagros, sacred hearts and images are all artistic motifs used in Mexican folk art in every state in Mexico.
The Christmas decorations of Mexico vary by region but are always colorful and festive whether made of tin, paper, wood, textiles or clay.
"Milagro"means "miracle" in Spanish. Milagros are religious charms that are prevalent throughout Mexico and are used to request or thank God for a miracle.

These handmade Mexican talavera flower vases from Dolores Hidalgo are one of our most popular gifts. We offer these beautifully shaped flower vases in a medium size. The patterns are varied but many have a mixture of cobalt blue, orange, yellow and red so the patterns mix and match with other talavera pieces extremely well. Allow us to choose for you as the pictures may not be identical to the ones we have in stock.
