Ceramics from yesteryear
The Virgen de Guadalupe, milagros, sacred hearts and images are all artistic motifs used in Mexican folk art in every state in Mexico.
The Christmas decorations of Mexico vary by region but are always colorful and festive whether made of tin, paper, wood, textiles or clay.
"Milagro"means "miracle" in Spanish. Milagros are religious charms that are prevalent throughout Mexico and are used to request or thank God for a miracle.

These small round handmade Mexican talavera flower vases from Dolores Hidalgo are one of our most popular gifts. We offer these very sweet flower vases in a small size. The patterns are either blue and white OR varied colors but most have a mixture of cobalt blue, orange, yellow and red so the patterns mix and match with other talavera pieces extremely well. All patterns are unique so please allow us to choose for you from our remaining stock! We do not take photos of every individual design!
