The Virgen de Guadalupe, milagros, sacred hearts and images are all artistic motifs used in Mexican folk art in every state in Mexico.
The Christmas decorations of Mexico vary by region but are always colorful and festive whether made of tin, paper, wood, textiles or clay.
"Milagro"means "miracle" in Spanish. Milagros are religious charms that are prevalent throughout Mexico and are used to request or thank God for a miracle.

Are you looking for a large, unique Mexican earring? This swinging sterling silver earring was made with love in Taxco, Mexico. This is a very pretty tiered earring with a flower at the top attached to a scalloped and incised flowery circle with filagree and two facing crescent moons in the center. There is a silver drop (gote) at the bottom with four moving cup dangles. They are shiny and do require shining to keep them sparkly. Very light weight. Beautiful for special events like prom or a wedding!
