These Mexican carved wooden hearts are covered in milagros. Generally they are a painted wood heart topped by a flame symbolizing the Sacred Heart. Milagro means “miracle,” and the tiny religious charms are typically used to offer thanks or to request spiritual help for a specific problem. Each heart is covered with different kinds of milagros, made of pot metal and hammered onto the wood. Pot metal is a combination of lots of inexpensive metals that are melted together and then placed in a mold to shape them into the milagros. They are a silver or gold color but are not made of silver or gold. A lovely and popular gift, these wooden hearts come in different sizes and with or without wings.

Let us know in the notes if you have a color preference, but we cannot guarantee it because the stock changes often. The specific set of milagros arranged on your heart also will depend on our constantly changing stock, and we will choose your heart for you. All are one-of-a-kind.
