These amazing large, spotted cazuelas were made in Capula, Michoacán, a very tiny town not too far from Patzcuaro in the state of Michoacán. The bowls are eye catching because of their beautiful palettes. The colorful unique little dots, forming contrasting flowers of white and color are imperfectly perfect. It is glazed with lead-free, "sin plomo" glaze on the inside and out. Capula is a town known for this type of ceramic as well as the beautiful catrinas of Michoacán.

I purchased these at the Semana Santa Folk Art Market in Michoacán.

These are large, heavy and fragile. Shipping to California, Florida, New York or Texas will definitely incur additional shipping charges.
