Dolores Hidalgo Molcajete Bowls (Three Footed Bowls)

These charming bowls with three legs are known as molcajetes, are one of our most popular items. They get their name from the similarity they have to the volcanic rock molcajetes that are used to grind spices in Mexico. They are great little gifts to lend a shot of color to a kitchen and to serve guacamole, salsa or lots of other little appetizers.

Cazuela Bowls with Small Handles

These handmade Mexican talavera cazuelas (handled bowls) from Dolores Hidalgo, are one of our most popular items. We offer these beautifully painted and shaped cazuelas in two sizes. A cazuela is commonly used in Mexico, in every state, to cook sauces and moles, often over an open flame. This one is not for that.  However, it is food safe and could be used in the oven or microwave. Or it could be used as a small salad bowl or for side dishes. We recommend hand washing. The patterns are varied but most have a mixture of cobalt blue, orange, yellow and red so the patterns mix and match with other talavera pieces extremely well.

Octagonal Serving Bowls

This lovely octagonal shaped serving bowl is unusual and super pretty. Large enough for serving many side dishes for a family of 4 or more. The shape is enhanced by the very pretty hand painting in vibrant colors. This bowl can be ordered to match or complement other table or serving ware from our collections.

Special order ceramics take 3-4 months to ship. Please see our Special Orders page for up-to-date shipping times and costs.

Shallow Serving Bowls
