Our Tableware Collection includes plates, cups and bowls, hand made and hand painted by skilled artisans in a small town in central Mexico. Talavera is earthenware, lead-free, food safe and can be used in the microwave or oven. We recommend hand washing.

The shape of this bowl is known at the workshop as a "sopero" because it can be used to serve soup. But it is also a perfect bowl for serving pasta, small sides at the dinner table or as an individual salad bowl. It's bigger and more shallow than a cereal bowl. All of our talavera tableware is food safe, lead-free and can go in the microwave or oven. We recommend hand washing.
