The Christmas decorations of Mexico vary by region but are always colorful and festive whether made of tin, paper, wood, textiles or clay.

These lovely Mexican earrings are reminiscent of the filagree and bead earrings from Oaxaca but were both handmade in Taxco. The beads in the center circle are tiny. They have lots of movement because the two levels are jointed. Filagree designs are hand swirled so be sure to note the amazing symmetry and design perfection. Exquisite! Silver French wire.
